Hospitals
- If you receive medical treatment for illness or injuries at a hospital, please go to medical services at a suitable hospital and at the suitable department for the condition that must be treated.
Be sure to take your National Health Insurance Card with you. If you forget it, you will have to pay the entire costs yourself, so please be careful concerning this matter.

General procedures for receiving medical services at a hospital
(First examination/service)
 |
 |
 |
 |
| 1. |
Show your health insurance card at the reception desk and explain what your problem is. |
| 2. |
The reception desk will issue a first examination record card to you. Take this card to the department that is indicated and wait your turn for medical service. |
| 3. |
When your name is called, enter the examination room and receive the medical services provided by the doctor. |
| 4. |
After you have finished, go to the Accounting window and pay for the services your received in cash. |
| 5. |
In most cases where medicine is required, you can take the written prescription that you have received from the doctor to the pharmacy inside the hospital and then go and pay for everything at one time. Cases where the hospital does not have its own pharmacy are increasing. If this is the case, go to an outside pharmacy and have your proscription filled there. If necessary, ask the reception desk or a nurse where you can find a suitable pharmacy. |
