Vehicle Inspection Certificate

Vehicle Inspection Certificate

  1. When a new motor vehicle is first registered for the first time, the Land Transportation Office or the Inspection and Registration Office issue a Vehicle Inspection Certificate.

  2. The Vehicle Inspection Certificate must be carried in the car at all times.

  3. The Vehicle Inspection Certificate has the same function as a deed for property or a building.
On it is recorded changes in ownership, changes in address, changes in the period of the Certificate validity and the date when the car is scrapped. Each time the vehicle is re-inspected or re-registered, the Vehicle Inspection Certificate must be presented. Be careful in storing the Vehicle Inspection Certificate properly.

  4. The Vehicle Inspection Certificate shows not only the owner and the user of the vehicle, but it also contains various other required information items. Vehicle Inspection procedures vary depending on whether the owner and the user apply simultaneously or the user only applies.
These differences should be noted and kept in mind. The items of information included in the Vehicle Inspection Certificate can be broken down into such categories as the following:
the "registration-related items (items that verify ownership of the vehicle such as registration number, name of the car, type, serial number, engine designation, name of the owner/owning organization and address and area where the car is used) and items involving the physical characteristics of the vehicle such as the size, exhaust capacity, structure, related device designations and the inspection items, etc.
