    January 1 New Years Day To celebrate the New Year
    Second Monday in February Coming of Age Day Celebration for persons 20 years of age who have become adults. Aimed at raising awareness of adulthood.
    February 11 National Foundation Day To celebrate the founding of the country and to encourage love of country.
    March 20 Vernal Equinox For celebrating praise and love of nature
    April 29 Greenery Day For enjoying and giving thanks to Nature and becoming abundant in heart.
    May 3 Constitution Day For celebration of the promulgation of the Constitution
    May 4 Day of rest Falls between two holidays and has been declared a holiday
    May 5 Children's Day To promote the rights and happiness of children and express gratitude to mothers.
    July 20 Ocean Day To express thanks for the benefits of the ocean and pray for the prosperity of Japan, a country that depends on the oceans.
    September 15 Respect-for-Aged Day To express love and respect for the elderly who contributed to society for many years and pray for their long life.
    September 23 Autumn Equinox To pay respects to one's ancestors and persons who have passed away.
    Second Monday in October Health Sports Day To enjoy sports and build a healthy body and mind.
    November 11 Culture Day To promote freedom and peace and culture.
    November 23 Labor Thanksgiving Day To demonstrate esteem for labor and celebrate each other's career contributions.
    December 23 The Emperor's Birthday To celebrate the Emperor's Birthday.

Golden Week :
This is the name given to the period at the end of April and the beginning of May when there are many holidays. Charges related to traveling will higher than normal during this period.

    July 7 The Star Festival A traditional summer festival, celebrating the once-a-year meeting of the Weaver (Vega) and her lover in the sky

    The Bon Festival A traditional festival period when the spirits of the departed return to earth. Many companies take their annual summer vacation during this period.
    November 15 Shichi-go-san (7-5-3) A traditional festival for small children of the ages of 3 (girls), 5 (boys) and 7 (girls)
